Refund Policy

1. Overview
At AuditekSmart, we strive to deliver high-quality audit programs and professional services. Because our audit programs are digital products that are delivered immediately upon purchase, our refund policy is structured as follows.
2. Digital Audit Programs
2.1 Before Download
If you have purchased an audit program but have not yet downloaded any files, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase. To request a refund, contact us with your invoice number and the reason for your request.
2.2 After Download
Once you have downloaded any files associated with your purchase, the sale is considered final and refunds are generally not available. This is because digital products cannot be "returned" after delivery — once downloaded, the files are in your possession.
2.3 Exceptions
We may issue a refund or credit after download in the following exceptional circumstances:
- Defective Product: The files are corrupted, incomplete, or substantially different from the product description.
- Duplicate Purchase: You accidentally purchased the same audit program twice. In this case, the duplicate purchase will be refunded.
- Technical Issues: A verified platform error prevented you from accessing your purchased files and we are unable to resolve the issue.
3. Professional Services
Refund terms for professional consulting and audit services are governed by the individual engagement agreement or statement of work signed between you and AuditekSmart. Generally:
- Deposits for professional services may be partially refundable if the engagement has not commenced.
- Once work has begun, fees for completed milestones or delivered work products are non-refundable.
- Cancellation terms and any applicable fees will be outlined in your engagement agreement.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:
- Your full name and email address associated with your account.
- Invoice number or transaction reference.
- The audit program purchased.
- The reason for your refund request.
- Any supporting evidence (e.g., screenshots of a technical issue).

5. Processing Time
We will review your refund request within 5 business days of receiving it. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method (mobile money) within 7-10 business days. You will receive an email notification when your refund has been processed.
6. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Audit programs that have been downloaded and used, unless covered by the exceptions in Section 2.3.
- Free resources or promotional materials.
- Services that have been fully delivered as agreed.
- Purchases made more than 30 days ago (regardless of download status).
7. Disputes
If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may escalate the matter by writing to us with additional details. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda.
